Hello! So nice to "meet" everyone. A little about us....... We both grew up in a small town in the Central Valley of California. Courtney attended Arizona State University (Go Sundevils) & thats where she fell in love with Scottsdale. We wanted a one of a kind home to enjoy when visiting while also creating a space to share with guests to make their own memories. We enjoy traveling to new cities, finding the best happy hour spots, taking our Golden Retriever (Emma) on walks, and a carefully crafted margarita. We are so excited to have the pleasure of hosting you & cannot wait to share this beautiful city with you.

About the Home
TV: The TV is equipped with an Apple TV and Hulu Plus which are both already logged in. The best way to watch live tv is through the Hulu app and click on "Live TV."
LAUNDRY: The Laundry Room door is located off of the Private Patio. It can be unlocked with the Brass Key on the "Cactus" keychain (located in the gold tray on the entry console table). You should have everything you need including scent free laundry soap + softener. There is an iron and steamer in the closet of the Guest Bedroom.
PARKING: There are two covered parking spaces located at the back of the townhome. You may access these through the alley. Our house number "7716" is located on the back wall in front of these spaces. (It is the second unit in when turning in off of Kalarama Avenue.) Please note, the parking is on the backside of the townhouse. If you are entering for the first time, you will have to walk around to the front of the townhouse to enter through the main door.
APPLIANCES: In top drawer of the media center are all of the original manufacturers' owners manuals. (All of our appliances were purchased new in 2019.) Please reference these if you have a question on how to operate any of the appliances.
TRASH: Should you need to take out the trash during your stay, please place trash bags in the large community bins located in the back alley behind the townhome.
POOL KEY: The key for the pool is the Brass Key labeled "DO NOT DUPLICATE" on the "Cactus" keychain (located in the gold tray on the entry console table). Please read the Pool Rules below. Beach towels are located inside of the Laundry Room. Do not forget sunscreen! The Arizona sun is no joke folks.
GROCERY STORES: There are several grocery stores located close to the home. Our favorite is Sprouts Farmers Market. They carry local organic items. In addition, there is also a Fry's Grocery which has all of the standard name brand items. If you would like your groceries delivered, we like the app InstaCart. To have the fridge stocked and all your grocery shopping done before you arrive contact Girl About Town about their concierge services.
RESTAURANT DELIVERIES: There are tons of great nearby restaurants (some of which are on our recommended list) that offer food deliveries through the apps Postmates, Door Dash or Uber Eats.
GETTING AROUND: If you do not have a car, apps such as Uber and Lyft are our favorite ways to get around easily. There are also Lyft scooters you can rent if you are not going far. These can be seen all around Old Town. And don't forget about Ollie the Trolley!
House Rules
NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Sorry folks, per our insurance we can only have registered guests stay at the property. Should anything happen, these guests will not be protected or covered in any way.
NO PARTIES: Please see above. Let's be honest here, this is a very small townhome and not a great place for a shindig. (There are plenty of great spots in Old Town for this.)
NO PETS: We LOVE furry friends. Unfortunately, this is not the best place for our four legged friends. Thank you for your understanding.
NO SMOKING: There is no smoking of any kind allowed either inside or on the property.
UGH!!! SOMETHING BROKE: Dear guests, life happens. Kids happen. Red wine on the rug happens. We get it. We understand our space is no match for some of these things. Can you do us a giant favor though.... and just let us know. We promise we won't be mad. We just need the opportunity to fix it before the next guest arrives.

Pool Rules
Please note, these rules are provided directly from the Homeowner's Association. As our guests, we appreciate you abiding by them. The community is small but filled with some really great people.
POOL HOURS: 8:00AM - 10:00PM DAILY
The pool is for the use of residents and guests of residents only.
Children 17 and under are limited to use of the pool between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm daily. The pool is reserved for adults only (18 years of age and older) between the hours of 8:00pm and 10:00pm daily.
The gate to the pool area must be locked at all times. This is necessary to protect small children and keep animals out of the pool area. In addition, local laws do not allow an open gate. There is to be no climbing (under, over or through) the fence or gates to enter the pool area.
No glass containers or food shall be brought into the pool area. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the pool area.
Guests using the pool after 9:00pm should be respectful by keeping the noise to a minimum.
No inflatables are allowed within the pool area.
Music is permissible but must be kept at a reasonable level.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If you need any specific recommendations, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We tried to keep to keep our picks to places you will not have to go far for. However, if you are up for an adventure - we can give you so many more options.

Check Out
Check out time is at 11:00 AM. Prior arrangements must be approved ahead of time if you need to extend this. We always appreciate a quick message if you leave earlier. That way our cleaning crew can get in and start making the home sparkling clean for the next guest.
Please load the dishwasher with any used dishes and start. (The dish tabs are underneath the kitchen sink.)
Please strip the beds & pile the dirty sheets on top of the bed.
Please close all windows and lock all doors, turn off air conditioner/heater, leave the house + pool keys on the console in the gold tray.
